Doris Duke Conservation Scholars Program, Summer 2017

I was part of the Doris Duke Conservation Scholars Program and had the privilege of conducting fieldwork in a variety of California ecosystems. Throughout the summer I stayed at various UC reserves stations including the White Mountains Research Center, Sierra Nevada Aquatic Research Labs, and Long Marine Lab in Santa Cruz, California.

Friday Harbor Labs, Summer 2018

At the University of Washington Friday Harbor Labs, I was part of a team that conducted a field experiment on juvenile chinook salmon in the San Juan Islands, examining the nursery function of seagrass, invasive brown algae, and a mixture of the two.
